In this video, we create a new script that also contains a form. When using a form, we can provide feedback and ask for information from the user. In this case, we are simply going to create a button that, when clicked, will perform the task of the previous script by asking for a file and adding it to the timeline.
The forms added in Premiere are actually HTML pages. You have the full abilities of HTML available to you to add various inputs and buttons. You can also use JavaScript to help control the screen. Once the information has been entered on the screen, JavaScript is used to pass the information to the ExtendScript routine in Premiere so the actual task can be performed.
