In this script, we take the code from our previous script that added a file to the timeline and break it up into smaller reusable pieces called subroutines. By breaking the code into smaller pieces, the entire coding process becomes simpler as each small piece is simpler. Then when creating a new script, these smaller pieces can be reused again and again.
In future videos we’ll be creating some functional routines that can be used in later scripts.
