In this tutorial, we look at a forum post wondering if a script can detect and remove duplicate frames. While a script cannot see a frame, it can save a snapshot and can look at that image. Now, this is not the most efficient method but is designed to show what can be done using strictly native scripting without calling any 3rd party applications.
So this tutorial will show how to go through all of the images in an event and always have two available to compare. Each of the generated images are saved in the VEGAS Temporary folder and removed once used. So there will be no disc space used once finished.
What scripts would you like to see? Any processes you’d like to see how to do using a script?
