In this tutorial we learn about the timeline offset and how to take that into consideration when placing new events on the timeline. Vegas allows the “starting point” of the timeline to be changed but all actions are relative to the beginning of the timeline instead of the actual changed timecode resulting from a changed start time. This shows how to take that into consideration if you work on a timeline with an adjusted start time.
