Remove Silent Areas from an Audio Track in VEGAS – Part 2

In this tutorial, we learn how to read and process the log file. First, all of the extra information has to be ignored. Then we process the timecodes and volume levels from the log.

To verify we are getting the correct volume levels, we create a composite envelope on the first video track so we can visually see the levels changing to compare with what is shown on the audio track.
